Buddhism is most acceptable in any Administration!

The recent comment of Honorable President that Buddhism was the first true form of globalisation is very significant in every form. This is because Buddhism was most acceptable to every common people irrespective of their class, status. It didn't have had any stringency in any rituals, rules. In fact, even Buddha objected to being called anything as god thus freeing every human to follow his/her path. I would call this as one of the earliest forms of 'Ubermensch',   thus freeing every soul from any kind of the obligation and at the same time saving them from any kind of existential crisis.

Needless to say that Buddhism shows an Administrator to choose his/her own path in the matter of Administration. For instance, when any crisis of conscience come in administrative decision making and s/he has limited time and resources. Like in the matter of riots, violence and maybe an Administrator has to choose between killing or not killing. Whatever decision s/he may choose must be quelled after some time so that it doesn't mentally, psychologically impact him/her. Perhaps it may be a spur of a moment or involuntary step but s/he has to do so. Buddhism frees him/her from any such dilemma.

What is the message from Lord Buddha?

There is a suffering.
Suffering has an origin.
Suffering can cease.
There is a path out of suffering which EIGHTFOLD PATH.

1) Right view 2) Right resolve 3) Right Speech 4) Right conduct 5) Right Livelihood 6) Right Effort
7) Right mindfulness 8) Right Samadhi

Anyone be it an administrator or common man follow this at every instant of the life would find the right answer for any moral dilemma in decision making. Perhaps one would argue it to be too philosophical but for revival or rebirth of new practical knowledge, we need to build up some philosophy and try to work on it block by block. Perhaps humanity is looking for some answer which is beyond this realm of mankind. It requires collective efforts of all human on this earth.

Why Current Account Deficit is not bad?

Current Account Deficit(CAD) is an economic term where country's import exceeds the exports. So I was going through few of the data from tradingeconomics.com, where I found some good Insight which I would like to share with you all. So during CAD, a home country purchases the more goods from the foreign country because: 1) Either a home country lacks enough resources to produce. 2) Or a home country lacks the Skilled and efficient workforce to produce more goods in the International market. Both the reasons are general but there can be third reasons too which the country is saving its limited resources for future. As per the recent report, India's CAD is expected to touch $40 billion, or 1.5 percent of GDP(Nomura report), which is the huge number. Now the question is that what we import? Basically many things but the major portion is crude oil from Gulf countries like Saudi Arabia. Now this means that Saudis are depleting its limited oil resources while India is c...

British Raj Administrative Legacy & its Critique

British ruled us for almost 200 years, came as the trader and went on to become the Ruler. What's the takeaway for Indians from this long endeavour? It is the British way of administration which is perhaps the greatest thing they can give. Some of them are: 1) Codified Rules and Anglo-Saxon law 2) Land Policy 3) Tax policy 4) Unified Administration, Civil service 5) Bringing new technology, infrastructure like Railways, Telegraph 6) Police: law & order 7) Legislation, limited adult suffrages, path to democracy 8) Market Economy, private ownership 9) Municipal corporation, Urbanisation 10) Industrialisation 11) Education: English, Science, Humanities etc., Press, universities 12) Social Reforms like Sati, child marriage, widow remarriage etc. There is more such contribution of the British. But the question arises, Is India today as the rising superpower because of these inherencies from the predecessor or despite it? In order to arrive at s...

A New FDRI Apprehension: Should we be??

A couple of months ago Government of India has had introduced the Financial Deposit Resolution Insurance bill which is envisaged to replace the activity of Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC). Background: Earlier DICGC was supposed to provide the insurance of up to 1 lakh Rupees for the depositors, in case of any 'Bank run' kind of situation. Now, what FDRI bill offers for the depositor? Will it be different from DICGC?  FDRI brings two important things: 1) Resolution Corporation   2) From 'Bail out' to 'Bail in' Let me explain here: Resolution Corporation would constitute of the eminent experts(Specialist in Finance of course), who would monitor the condition of the firms based on a certain parameter which is: a) Low-Risk b) Medium Risk  c) High-Risk d) Imminent Risk   e) Critical This risk refers to how financially secure any firm is? When the clock parameter clicks the Critical then this Resoluti...
